An Egyptian serpentine pylon-shaped pectoral with the triad of Isis, Nephthys and Horus Late Period, circa 664-332 B.C. with a modern suspension loop, 3.1cm high Footnotes: Provenance: with Olivier Tiano, France. Resandro collection, Europe, primarily formed late 1960s-1997, acquired from the above (R-611). Published: I. Grimm-Stadelmann (ed.), Aesthetic Glimpses, Masterpieces of Ancient Egyptian Art, The Resandro Collection, Munich, 2012, p.194, no. R-611. The reverse is incised with a scene of Isis in the marshes, suckling Horus, with two horizontal rows of text and a column of text at either side of the scene, and further text on the underside, all of which is not legible but probably protective in nature. The two sides of the amulet are decorated with the symbols of an ankh, djed-pillar and was sceptre.
