APOLLO 11: R.K. JEFFRIES' COPY OF THE FLIGHT PLAN ANNOTATED DURING THE EVA Apollo 11 Flight Plan. Houston, TX: Manned Space Center, 1 July 1969. Mimeographic Manuscript, approx. 120 pp, 4to, with original peach-colored wrappers SIGNED by R. K. Jefferies at upper margin, housed in 3-ring binder of TRW Systems Group with paper label on spine reading 'Apollo 11 / (Mission Ep) / Flight Plan,' annotated in blue and red ink throughout, folding chart laid in, some toning overall. WITH: a second copy, signed 'JEFFRIES' to p 1, otherwise unmarked, toned. Provenance: purchased from Ira & Larry Goldberg, December 2011. The most heavily annotated section of this flight plan are pages 3-79 to 3-82 which detail the EVA actions of the Apollo Crew. Jeffries has taken notes in real time, including time stamps at various progress points and identifying CDR as 'Neil' and LMP as 'Buzz,' and has added at the top of 3-79, 'One small step for man / one Giant leap for mankind.'
