A GOLD DAMASCENED IRON 'FLYING HORSES' PLAQUE AND A GOLD DAMASCENED IRON QUATREFOIL 'LANÇA SCRIPT' PLAQUE 17th/18th century Comprising: a plaque of quatrefoil form, cast at the centre with a cartouche depicting two horses flanking a wheel of law amid ruyi and foliated scrolls and a four-lobed plaque featuring a central panel with lança script flanked by a pair of dragons, encircled by a border of dragons and lotus flowers. The larger: 10cm (4in) long. (2).
