'1956 Monaco Grand Prix' poster after J Ramel, printed on paper, depicting a stylized Ferrari 500/625 (the 1955 winner) leading a French Blue Gordini. The 1956 event was won by Stirling Moss in the Maserati 250F followed by Fangio in a Ferrari and Behra in the sister 250F, 120 x 78cm, conservation linen mounted, framed and Perspex glazed. Footnotes: Ramel was a poster artist living in France, who signed his poster artworks J RAMEL. His most famous posters were produced for the Monaco Grand Prix in the 1950s and 1960s and he also produced posters for other automobile events such as the speed trials in Nice on the Côte d'Azur This lot is subject to the following lot symbols: † † VAT at the prevailing rate on Hammer Price and Buyer's Premium.
