KATSUAKI An Inlaid and Engraved Shibuichi Panel Mounted on the Original Wood Panel and Frame Taisho (1912-1926) or Showa (1926-1989), 20th century Carved in kebori (plain line engraving) and katakiribori (engraving with an angled chisel emulating brushstrokes) with a large gnarled pine tree, with details inlaid in gilt, copper and shakudo; signed with chiselled characters Katsuaki koku with a seal Katsuaki. Overall: 35.5cm x 66cm (14in x 26in); Image: 19.5cm x 36.5cm (7 11/16in x 14 3/8in).
