A Transitional kingwood and mahogany dressing table By Jean-Georges Schlichtig The hinged top enclosing a rising dressing mirror flanked by compartments above a brushing slide and three drawers on slender cabriole legs, stamped JG Schlightig JME to the underside, 77.5cm wide x 44.5cm deep x 76cm high, (30 1/2in wide x 17 1/2in deep x 29 1/2in high) Footnotes: Jean-Georges Schlichtig was a German cabinet maker active in Paris in the mid-18th century.
