Carved and painted wooden sculpture in the form of a standing Uncle Sam holding blank white board, possibly used for advertising, on integral gold-painted base, 5cm wide, 2cm deep, 33cm high (2 3/4in wide, 1 3/4in deep, 13 1/4in high). Footnotes: Provenance Richard Romberg Antiques & Art, Buffalo, New York; Michigan origin.
