Serial number on the butt 2012, .38 Rimfire caliber, unmarked round barrel with serial number 3243, small post front sight, still retaining a loading lever below; cylinder with five scenes withing oval frames; unmarked frame with cartridge loading groove added to the right side, walnut grips. Barrel lg. 5, overall lg. 10 1/4 in. Condition: Revolver toned to gray with areas of surface oxidation, grips are good, action functions properly but mainspring is broken. Footnotes: Note Lot includes a letter from R.L. Wilson describing the revolver and comparing it to Colt conversion revolvers.
