Serial number 1, .32 rimfire caliber, the barrel and frame with engraved foliate scroll decoration, the top of the barrel marked 'No 2 STANDARD. 1875' and the left side of the barrel marked 'J.M. MARLIN NEW HAVEN CT USA PAT JULY 1 1873'; blued cylinder with foliate scroll engraving and foliate scroll molded and gilded bronze grips, marked 'PAT. APR. 28 74.'; frame, barrel and cylinder all marked with serial number '1.' Barrel lg. 3, overall lg. 7, in. Condition: Plating is approx. 95%, cylinder is re-blued, grip has wear, action needs attention.
