A MANHATTAN POCKET MODEL, SERIES I REVOLVER, c. 1858-60. Serial number 735, .31 caliber octagonal barrel marked on the top 'MANHATTAN FIRE ARMS/MANUFG. CO. NEW YORK'; five-shot cylinder with roller engraved stagecoach holdup scene; foliate scroll engraved frame, smooth walnut grips, wedge serial number matches the frame. Barrel lg. 4, overall lg. 8 ¾ in. Condition: Barrel mostly toned to plum brown with traces of bluing, cylinder toned to gray and scene is strong, frame toned to gray/brown, grips have scattered ding and dents, action needs attention.
