TWO FLINTLOCK FOLDING BAYONET PISTOLS, early 19th century. An English pistol by Henry Nock with a 6 in., .54 caliber octagonal brass barrel engraved 'H.NOCK LONDON' on the top and with post-1813 Birmingham proof marks on the left side, the top of the barrel with folding 3 1/2 in. bayonet; flat lock plate with rounded tail marked 'H.NOCK' below the waterproof pan; walnut stock with checkered grip; engraved brass trigger guard with pineapple finial, brass entry pipe, wood rammer with brass tip. Pistol lg. 10 3/4, with bayonet extended 14 1/2 in. An unmarked pistol with a 5 in. brass flaring cannon muzzle barrel, 4 in. bayonet mounted on the underside, brass box lock frame engraved with a panoply of arms on each side, sliding safety catch on the cock; checkered walnut stock, side mounted wood rammer with brass tip. Pistol lg. 11 in., with bayonet extended 15 1/2 in. Condition: Pistols are in good overall condition, the Nock pistol has a repaired and infilled crack associated with the barrel key on the right side; actions function properly.
