Footnotes: Provenance: Property of a Private Collector Bonhams, The Benney Family Private Collection, 20th April 2016, lot 506 Simon Benney was trained by his Father Gerald Benney, by adding texture to his pieces he creates an illusion of depth and added colour by means of enamelling to highlight this detail. Whilst located at his showroom at Walton Street, London. Fabergé had been fragmented for almost 90 years when in 2007 this was reversed with the reunification of the Fabergé name with the Fabergé Family. In 2009, Fabergé was relaunched and in 2012, released its first silver collection. Simon Benney in collaboration with Fabergé launched the successful Constructivist collection that comprises of tumblers in a complex palette of enamels.
