Two silver Victorian silver chambersticks the first Charles Thomas Fox & George Fox, London 1843, the second Henry Wilkinson & Co, Sheffield 1848 The first, naturalistic form, shaped-circular dome base with spiral fluted and embossed flowers, with a branch form handle issuing from a leaf, rising to the centre with a branch stem, the nozzle formed as a flower bud with petalled rim, with detachable leaf and branch snuffer, diameter 10.5cm; the second, shaped-circular base with leaf motif, rising to a fluted baluster form column, scroll handle to one side and detachable leafy conical snuffer, height 10cm; a George III silver beaker, William Frisbee London 1800, tapering cylindrical form, later engraved and later inscribed 'ST MATTHEWS DISTRICT PRESENTED TO THE Revd R Malone BY THE MOTHERS Of the Tuesday Evening Meetings WESTMINSTER 17TH NOVR 1862', height 9.5cm; together with an Old Sheffield plate small chamberstick, weight 12.3oz. Buyers' Premium and Charges
For all Sales categories, buyer's premium excluding Cars, Motorbikes, Wine, Whisky and Coin & Medal sales, will be as follows:
Buyer's Premium Rates
28% on the first £40,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £40,000 up to and including £800,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £800,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.
A 3rd party bidding platform fee of 4% of the Hammer Price for Buyers using the following bidding platforms will be added to the invoices of successful Buyers for auctions starting on or after 6th July 2024 – Invaluable; Live Auctioneers; The Saleroom; Lot-tissimo.
VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
