An unusual Victorian silver and leather cased campaign / travelling set beakers and goblets, William Thomas Wright & Frederick Davies, London 1877, For two persons, comprising: two beakers, plain tapering form, gilt interiors, two graduated sized goblets, plain bowls and trumpet stems, gilt interiors, the stem of the smaller goblet unscrews and fits into the large stem and the bowl fits into the other bowl, a folding fork with steel corkscrew and a folding spoon, William Hutton & Son, Sheffield 1866, another pair, Robert Hutton, (William Hutton & Sons), Sheffield 1876, and two folding knives with steel blades, each with mother of pearl handles, each housed in a fitted velvet covered jacket enclosing the goblets and fitting into the beakers, fitting into the smaller goblet is an unmarked container, tapering curved circular form conforming to the shape of the bowl, with screw fitting cover to reveal a compartment, two screw fitting compartments below with pierced grilles to act as infusers, interior gilt, all contained in a leather covered container, height of case 13cm, diameter 8.7cm.
