[Dinosaur roughly blowing out birthday candles.] Original watercolor and gouache on paper, signed ('McTeague') at lower right, 330 x 480 mm, matted and framed to 500 x 645 mm. Provenance: Every Picture Tells a Story, c.2004. Mark Teague co-authored the How Do Dinosaurs...? series with Jane Yolen beginning in 2000 with How Do Dinosaurs Say Goodnight? This illustration bears obvious resemblance to Teague and Yolen's How do Dinosaurs Say Happy Birthday, but was accomplished many years before the publication.
