A Suzhou jade 'Monkey and Horse' snuff bottle 1750-1850 The compressed ovoid bottle with a flat lip and oval foot, carved in high relief with a horse tethered to a tree under a monkey high in the branches. 2in (5.1cm) high Footnotes: 1750-1850年 青白玉雕馬上封侯紋鼻煙壺 Provenance Hugh Moss Ltd., 25 September 2000 來源 Hugh Moss Ltd., 2000年9月25日 The present bottle is strikingly similar to a bottle formerly in the collection of Mary and George Bloch collection and illustrated in Hugh Moss, Victor Graham and Ka Bo Tsang, A Treasury of Chinese Snuff Bottles: The Mary and George Bloch Collection, Vol. 1, Hong Kong, 1996, no. 123.
