It was part of a series of nine photos I did for the annual report of an international business insurance company. This photo supposedly represents the theme: 'Professionalism: Mastery is a product of skill and imagination. Professional reinsurers know how to make the decisions that create ongoing security – no matter how ingenious the obstacles.' 'Because shooting the whole series would take a few days and the company gave me carte blanche, I decided to take the photos at the Bridgehampton school where my two youngest daughters were going at the time.' (Elliott Erwitt, quoted in Elliott Erwitt: Between the Sexes, p. 13) For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com For further information about this lot please visit the lot listing
