Hermès: a White 'Kachinas' T-Shirt Staff stamp Print Designed by Kermit Oliver Condition Grade B Labelled size 38 Footnotes: Kermit Oliver is an American painter who began working with Hermès in 1980. He is the only American artist to create designs for Hermès. His work reflects his Texas heritage and his interests in mythology, religion, and history. Oliver's Kachina design is inspired by a Native American tribe called the Pueblo who are indigenous to the geographic area that is now known as the state of Texas. According to Pueblo Native American mythology, a Kachina is a deified ancestral spirit, or a person embodying such a spirit in ceremonial dances. CONDITION REPORT Appears in good pre-loved condition, with gentle signs of wear. No visible marks on exterior or interior. Purchased in staff sale. 100% Cotton.
