Françoise de la Perriere, was one of the best known Hermès illustrators, with approximately 40 iconic designs on her resume. Grande Tenue Designed by Henri d'Origny in 1985, draws inspiration from the broadcloth covers and stable blankets adorned with leather straps, emblems, and monograms used to identify stables and their owners. Thanks to Émile Hermès' extensive collection of these emblems, the design features symbols such as Napoleon III, a Romanian prince, a maharaja, and a viscount, with Émile Hermès' monogram at the centre. Despite its lack of rarity, this iconic Hermès scarf is celebrated for its popularity and availability in a variety of colourways, making it one of the most beloved and recognizable designs released by Hermès. CONDITION REPORT Both appear to be in good, pre-loved vintage condition with signs of wear. Discolouration/marks present. Content/brand labels were removed.
