FIRST EDITION Extremely rare prize paper describing via highly detailed dissection techniques, varying anastamoses between the various cranial nerves, recognized only lately to explain unexpected results following certain cranial nerve sectioning at surgery. 'Bischoff demonstrated conclusively that there are many interconnections between the trigeminal, facial, nervus intermedius, acoustico-vestibular complex, glosso-pharyngeal, vagus, spinal-accessory, hypoglossal and the upper three cervical nerves (Garrison-Morton-Norman 1271.1). 8.
