ROOSEVELT'S INAUGURAL PROGRAM, signed by both the newly-elected president and vice president below each of their respective portraits. Roosevelt and Garner were inaugurated during the lowest point of the worst depression the country had ever faced, but they quickly went to work on their New Deal approach that incorporated financial reforms, regulations, public work projects and programs that would help to refocus the country and provide some hope as the depression continued.
