LOUIS MAJORELLE (1859-1926) Table à thé Les butomées Circa 1900 Signée 'Majorelle' Amarante, noyer, loupe d'orme, zebrano, ébène de Macassar, palissandre des Indes, ébène verte, courbaril, orme moucheté, loupe de thuya, wacapou, loupe de frêne partiellement teintée, acajou du Honduras et bronze patiné H: 82cm. (32.1/8in.); L: 91cm. (35.7/8in.); 59,5cm. (23.3/8in.) A signed 'Butomées' tea table in amaranth, walnut, elm burl, zebrano, Macassar ebony, Indian rosewood, yellow ipe, courbaril, bird's eye elm, thuja burl, wacapou, partially stained ash burl, Honduran mahogany and patinated bronze by Emile Gallé circa 1900. Footnotes: Provenance: Collection privée, France Historique: Le modèle a été exposé à l'Exposition Universelle de Paris en 1900, ainsi qu'à l'exposition de l'Ecole de Nancy, au Pavillon de Marsan à Paris en 1903.
