Footnotes: An Example of these earrings by Fannière Frères from the 'Amphitrite' demi-parure is pictured in 'La Bijouterie Française Au Xixe Siècle', Volume 2, by Henri Vever, p. 199. Please note that the pearls have not been tested for origin, and that one pearl is a cultured pearl replacement.
