A Some Like It Hot Publicity Pamphlet Featuring Marilyn Monroe Trifold 9 x 12 in. The Film Daily publicity pamphlet produced by United Artists dated February 25, 1959, promoting Some Like It Hot (1959), with 3 sides featuring portraits of the film's stars: one side with 16 Marilyn Monroe portraits by Richard Avedon, one side with 16 Tony Curtis portraits by Bob Coburn, and one side with 16 Jack Lemmon portraits by Bob Coburn. One of the interior pages features a synopsis of the film, screenplay details, summaries of the performers and their roles, lists of the actors and crew credits, and reviews of the film. Some Like It Hot is considered by many to be the greatest comedy ever made. Directed by Billy Wilder, it features Monroe as a member of an all-girl band who is unaware that her two friends in the band are actually men disguised as female musicians to escape 1920s gangsters.
