The splayed rim gilded with patterned band surrounding three vignettes of flowers and fruit alternating with mushroom motifs, centering the crest of ALEXANDER, A talbot's head erased argent collared gules, outside the cavetto filled with rouge-de-fer and gold cell pattern punctuated by four oval reserves containing sacred object motifs, an ornate spearhead border surrounding flat well decorated with mantled shield bearing the arms of Alexander, Azure a chevron between three talbots' heads erased argent collared gules, quartering BENNET, Gules a bezant between three demi lions rampant argent, the unidentified arms, Or a fess sable in chief three trefoils slipped, and EDMONDS Or, a chevron azure, three estoiles of the field, all over a plain banner, diam. 9, ht. 1 1/8 in.
