Pratt, Washington D.C., acquired directly from the artist 來源: 班立德(Mark S. Pratt)總領事珍藏,華盛頓 Tang Hong was born in Beijing in 1926, a Manchurian by ethnicity. Studying painting with Yu Fei'an, he would master his teacher's 'slender gold' calligraphy based on the style of the Song emperor Huizong. Relocating to Taiwan in 1949, Tang Hong would teach in Taichung at Taichung Normal University and later at Donghai University. Moving to Hong Kong in 1961, Tang Hong would continue to paint and teach, inspiring many followers. Lot to be sold without reserve.
