Paire d'étriers en acier damasquiné or Maroc, XIXe siècle De forme typique, chacun avec une base rectangulaire inclinée percée d'une rosette stylisée, les côtés effilés et la barre transversale surmontés d'un anneau de suspension, décorés en or avec des motifs géométriques. H. 20.5 cm (chaque) A pair of gold-damascened steel stirrups, Morocco, 19th Century. Of typical form, each with a sloping rectangular base pierced with a stylised rosette, the tapered sides and cross bar surmounted by a suspension ring, decorated in gold overlay with geometric designs. (2) Footnotes: Provenance Property from a Royal Collection. A similar pair of stirrups is in the Metropolitan Museum, New York (Accession Number 42.50.462, 463).
