Dague kindjal en acier à manche en ivoire marin Turquie, XIXe siècle La lame à double tranchant de forme effilée avec la gouttière décalée, la garde en ivoire de morse sertie de perles de corail (corallium rubrum), le fourreau en bois gainé de cuir avec des montures en argent repoussé, décoré de motifs végétaux. L. 41 cm A walrus-ivory-hilted steel dagger (kindjal), Turkey, 19th Century. The double-edged blade of tapering form with offset fuller, the walrus-ivory hilt of typical form set with coral beads (corallium rubrum), the wood scabbard clad in leather with repoussé silver mounts, decorated with vegetal motifs.
