Footnotes: Provenance Courtesy of the artist Artist statement: Jake Sheiner is a Los Angeles based painter and native of the city. He received his BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2008. His first solo show, 'Scenes from My Quarantine' with Taymour Grahne debuted online in 2021, followed by solos with The Lodge (LA) and WOAW Gallery (HK). Additionally, he has exhibited in group shows with La Loma Projects, (LA) Rachel Uffner Gallery, (NY) Bozo Mag, (LA) Hashimoto Contemporary, (LA) Grove, (London) My Pet Ram, (NY) and Lorin Gallery, (LA). His works have been featured in New American Painting, BOOOOOOOM, Hyper Allergic, The LA Weekly, Magnetic Magazine, Complex and The New York Times. Sheiner's works are included in the Beth Rudin DeWoody and X Museum collections among other private collections.
