A COLLECTION OF BRONZE BUDDHIST HANDS, ARROWS AND OTHER ITEMS Han and later Comprising: a pair of gilt bronze Buddhist hands displaying the vitarka mudra, with display stands; a collection of eight bronze arrows, with a lacquered wood box; an iron betelnut cutter in the shape of a deer looking backward; a Korean spoon with plain stem and flower head finial; two belt hooks, the terminal of both end with a small hook formed as a stylised dragon-head; a gilt bronze harness fitting of T-shape, featuring openwork with foliate scroll motifs; and a plain circular bronze and cover adorned with bow-strings. The longest: 28cm (11in). (20).
