Deux bagues en or Java Central, Indonésie, IXe-XIIe siècle Two gold rings Central Java, Indonesia, 9th-12th century from left to right i) FR size 50, 8.49 g, 14 ct. ii) FR size 62, 25.75 g, 14 ct. Footnotes: Provenance Susan Ollemans, London Private collection, Asia The large ring on the right has a quatrefoil bezel and a ribbed shank hoop. It is possible that this type of ring was designed to be worn as a pendant on a chain around the neck. The smaller ring on the left has an incised oval bezel and shoulders on a beaded shank hoop.
