2015 Paton 650cc S1 Strada Registration no. S50 PTN Frame no. *ZA9S12FA11EL27028* Engine no. ER650AEAA1953 Following the death of legendary Grand Prix Mechanic Giuseppe Pattoni in 1999, his son Roberto carried on in his footsteps and from the drawings his late father had made, the 8 valve version of the Bicilindrica was built for classic racing where podiums were always in the forefront with this new creation. Off the back of these remarkable wins, a road version was conceived and finally debuted at the Milan EICMA show in 2014, where it was a hit with the general public and was kept in the same spirit as the race bikes, but fitted with horns and lights. Keeping it in line with the race versions, it weighs in at a very light 348 pounds dry and uses a race replica frame which is made from cold-drawn steel rather than the racer's chrome-moly. Using a Kawasaki Parallel twin 650cc motor it gives ample speed and can easily hit the 11,000-rpm red line! Since it's inception, the Paton has seen various models released which have coincided with the TT where naturally these motorcycles are made for. This example is numbered 007/150 and displays a mere 678 miles from new. Purchased new by the vendor, the Paton has been used sparingly and should require only light recommissioning before returning to the road. Offered with a V5C, Kawasaki owners manual and two keys. Footnotes: All lots are sold 'as is/where is' and Bidders must satisfy themselves as to the provenance, condition, age, completeness and originality prior to bidding.
