Two Worcester teabowls and saucers, circa 1754-58 Printed with variations of 'La Cascade', a couple promenading in a formal garden accompanied by musicians, the example in black with a swan to the interior of the teabowl, the example in brown with a simple line border inside the rims, saucers 12.2cm and 12.5cm diam (4) Footnotes: The potting of the black-printed example is delightfully thin. This earlier 'Smokey Primitive' version of the print also confirms the slightly earlier date compared to the version printed in brown.
