A creamware teapot and cover, circa 1775 The grooved, entwined handle with elaborate flower, leaf and berry terminals, probably painted in the Rhodes workshop with a red building before tall trees washed in green and yellow, pale purple clouds in the distance, the cover with similar trees behind a red fence, 13.8cm high (2) Footnotes: To the underside of both the pot and the cover is an inscription 'Bought at Norwich, Feb 16 1865, said to be very old, J.P.B.'
