Lady Charlote Hamilton: an engraved plain stem wine glass, circa 1750 The drawn trumpet bowl inscribed 'Lady Charlote [sic] Hamilton' in diamond-point script, on a tapering plain stem containing an elongated tear, over a conical foot, 16cm high Footnotes: Provenance Property of a Gentleman Lady Charlotte Hamilton (c.1704-1777) was the daughter of James, 1st Duke of Hamilton and Brandon, and his second wife Elizabeth, daughter and co-heir of Digby, 5th Lord Gerard.
