Early Salmasoyud Kuba Rug Caucasus c. 1820, a very early and vibrantly colored example of a rare design. This is perhaps the oldest known example of this design type. We counted more than ten colors on this rug. The rug was once restored, but a previous owner removed all the restoration so they could enjoy the carpet in its original (somewhat worn and damaged) state.
