Executed circa 1900 Footnotes: This work was executed at Rodin's request around 1900, possibly by the French lithographer Auguste Clot. The signature and dedication is Rodin's hand. Two similar lithographs can be found at the musée Rodin (G. 7691). These were possibly made after drawing D. 04042. Provenance (Possibly) Auguste Delaigne Collection (a gift from the artist). Private collection, Europe (acquired in Paris in December 1956). Private collection, Belgium (by descent from the above). Lot to be sold without reserve.
