FOUR INSIDE-PAINTED GLASS SNUFF BOTTLES Variously signed Chen Shaofu, Bi Rongjiu (1874-1925) and Zhongchen, Chen Zhongsan and Zhou Leyuan, the first cyclically dated yisi year, corresponding to 1905 and of the period Comprising: an inside-painted 'landscape and scholar's rock' glass snuff bottle, signed Chen Shaofu, dated yisi year (1905); a double-inscribed inside-painted snuff bottle painted with a landscape scene by Bi Rongjiu (1874-1925) and with antiques on the reverse, signed Zhongchen; an inside-painted 'insects' blue glass snuff bottle, signed Chen Zhongsan, with stopper; and an inside-painted 'quails and rocks' glass snuff bottle, signed Zhou Leyuan. 7.5cm (3in) high (5).
