Black Bowmore 42 Year Old 1964 Distilled 5th November 1964, and bottled in 2007 by Bowmore Distillery. Bottle No. 693 of 827. In original wooden presentation case. Good labelling. Level: into neck. 750ml. Single malt, 40.5 abv 1 bottle Footnotes: The Black Bowmore is a blend of five Oloroso sherry cask matured in the legendary No.1 Vaults warehouse at Bowmore distillery. It is the first release of the famous Bowmore Trilogy which also includes the White Bowmore and the Gold Bowmore. Tasting notes from the producer Almost ebony in colour, with incredible aromas of exotic fruits, ginger and cinnamon. The palate is rewarded with hints of ripe mango, toffee and dark chocolate with the faintest hint of the smoky Bowmore signature. The finish is luxurious, creamy and warm.
