Three Crystal Clear Quartzes This is a set of three aesthetic quartz specimens: two from Brazil and one from Pakistan. The smallest specimen, with a height of 5.2 cm, from South Waziristan, Pakistan is a fine example of what is known as 'faden' quartz. 'Faden' means 'thread' in German and refers to the string of inclusions through the core of the stack of crystals, which are commonly slightly rotated from one to another. Together with two Brazilian quartz clusters with fine clarity and luster, measuring 8.2 cm and 7.5 cm in length.
