Two Barytes Two fine miniatures from opposite sides of the Atlantic. The Illinois specimen, measuring approximately 5.5 x 4.3 x 3.5 cm, is a more unusual and a fine representative from one of the classic Americal mineral specimen-producing area, Annabel Lee Mine, Harris Creek Sub-District, Hardin County, Illinois, USA. These are tabular baryte crystals on galena, a nice association. Together with a fine cluster of delicate, pale blue blades from Jebel Ouichane, Guelaia Cercle, Nador Province, Oriental Region, Morocco, measuring approximately 5.8 x 3.3 x 2.1 cm.
