Amethyst with Hematite Inclusions on Acrylic Base Eonyang Amethyst Deposit, Yangdung, Sannae-gun, Miryang City, South Gyeongsang Province, South Korea One of the largest and best-quality amethyst-smoky quartz specimen from its locality. Superb aesthetics and quality expressed by the nicely balanced central crystal flanked by two scepter crystals. The amethystine 'heads' have the spangle-like hematite inclusions that are the hallmark of what is commonly known as 'strawberry quartz'. The growth hillocks of the rhombohedral terminations add to the allure. Measuring approximately 19 x 13 cm.
