A FINE AND RARE 18K GOLD MANUAL WIND CHRONOGRAPH WRISTWATCH WITH DUAL TIME ZONE Model: Flightmaster Reference: ST 145.013 Date: c. 1970s Movement: 17-jewel Cal. 910 manual wind Dial: Black, luminous filled baton hour markers, outer 1/5th second divisions, subsidiary dials at 3, 6 and 9 for 30-minute, 12-hour, and green edged 24-hour recordings, white pointed baton hands with luminous inserts, blue plane tipped hand, orange center chronograph hand Case: Tonneau form, screw down case back Strap/Bracelet: Black alligator Buckle/Clasp: 18k gold buckle, signed Signed: Case, dial, and movement Size: 43mm Accompaniments: None Footnotes: The Omega Flightmaster debuted in 1969 and was specially designed for long-haul pilots. The first generation Flightmaster, reference ST 145.013, comes with two different hand variations: the first with orange hands for amateur pilots and travelers (present example) and the second with cadmium-coated yellow hands for professional pilots. The dial is color-coded for each function: yellow or red for the chronograph, blue for the dual time zone, black bezel for a simplified chronograph function, and its two-tone green-black AM/PM indication. Examples like the present watch are exceptionally rare on the market.
