The first generation Flightmaster, reference ST 145.013, comes with two different hand variations: the first with orange hands for amateur pilots and travelers (present example) and the second with cadmium-coated yellow hands for professional pilots. The dial is color-coded for each function: yellow or red for the chronograph, blue for the dual time zone, black bezel for a simplified chronograph function, and its two-tone green-black AM/PM indication. Examples like the present watch are exceptionally rare on the market.
