A Victorian silver-gilt and enamelled chalice John Hardman & Co, Birmingham 1872 Flaring bowl engraved with a trailing foliage band, the lower bowl with shaped panels chased with sprays of leaves and berries over a stippled ground, the hexagonal stem with floral engraved motifs with central leaf embellished knop, applied with six enamelled roundels, with Gothic style script letters, on a hexafoil spreading base, chased with leaves, flowers and beads over a stippled ground, each lobe with an enamelled roundel, height 23.8cm, weight 20oz.
