A French silver four-piece tea and coffee service together with a tray Edmond Tetard, Paris, with first standard mark, late 19th / early 20th century Baluster form embossed with acanthus and husk swags above an acanthus fluted lower body, ornate leaf embellished handles, the tea and coffee pots with ivory insulators, corresponding fluted decoration to the hinged covers, on leaf-capped elongated scroll supports, engraved monogram, the two-handled tray engraved acanthus flutes around a central reserve with husk swags and monogram, together with two pairs of sugar tongs and a tea strained, all contained in a fitted box, length handle to handle 61cm, weight 138oz.
