Two noblemen seated in a pavilion on a palace terrace Provincial Mughal, probably Deccan, 18th Century gouache and gold on paper, gold-decorated inner border, laid down on an unrelated leaf of paper with red and blue margin rules and two later nasta'liq inscriptions in lower border, outer borders of green paper painting 205 x 125 mm.; with borders 320 x 203 mm. Footnotes: The inscriptions in the lower border are later and apparently spurious, reading: Bahadur Singh Rathore and Raja Ram Chandela.
