A Damascus mother of pearl-inlaid mashribiyya wood screen Syria, late 19th Century comprising three hinged rectangular panels surmounted by pointed top sections, each decorated in carved foliate vines, geometric mother of pearl inlay and pierced openwork mashribiyya panels, the upper part of each section with a crescent panel and a rectangular panel containing carved inscriptions 200 x 180 cm.
