A Qajar painted wood kashkul Persia, 19th Century on a short foot in the form of a lobed cartouche, the s-curved handles each terminating in a dragon's head, decorated in polychrome and gilt with floral sprays to the body, the rim with bands of foliate interlace, the foot with vegetal interlace 22.8 cm. long Footnotes: A Qajar painted wood kashkul is in the Victoria and Albert Museum, London (Accession Number 878-1889).
