The subjects of the paintings are as follows: 1. Maharajah Gulab Singh. 2. Maharajah Sher Singh. 3. Chattar Singh Atariwala. 4. A fakir with a hookah and a dervish with a crutch and begging bowl. 5. Two mendicants with their dogs. 6. A nautch girl and three musicians. 7. An entertainer with two monkeys and a goat. 8. A female acrobat and a musician. 9. Two men butchering a goat. 10. Two men dyeing cloth. 11. A woman buying dry goods from a seller with a pair of scales. 12. Ironworkers at their smithy.
