XING BAOZHUANG (B. 1940) Listening to the Rain Ink and colour on paper, scroll Inscribed and signed Baozhuang, with one artis's seal Dated jiaxu year (1994) 20 x 55.5cm (7⅞ x 21⅞in) Footnotes: 刑寳莊 聼雨圖 設色紙本 鏡心 一九九四年作 款識： 聼雨圖。少年聽雨歌樓上，紅燭昏羅帳。壯年聽雨客舟中，江闊雲低 斷雁叫西風。而今聽雨僧廬下，鬢已星星也。悲歡離合總無情，一憑階前，點滴到天明。 甲戌（1994）年歲始，讀前人佳句，畫此《聼雨圖》自況，以記載歲月之感嘆也。正如另一高人描述齋中之句云：「如今風雨西樓夜，不聽清歌也淚垂」，人生不過如此而已哉！嘆嘆。寳莊。（第二句之「歌」字不存） 鈐印：刑寳莊印 For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com For further information about this lot please visit the lot listing
